Pink Concussions Summit, Georgetown University Medical School

February 28, 2016

The purpose of this summit was to discuss the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of concussion in females based on current science and research of how females differ from males. From the consensus of faculty and select participants, work sessions will develop a paper with recommendations on what gender-specific clinical practices and safety protocols should be researched and/or implemented to best treat females with concussions.

Dr. Kathryn Murray receives Honorable Mention for Research Poster at PinkConcussions Summit, with First Prize winner, Martina Anto-Ocrah. Her poster can be found here.
